Memories

Everyday memories are being formed with our experiences.  Some pleasant and some not so pleasant.  Our memories helps us create the stories of our lives.  Some experiences are tucked away where we have to try harder to remember that it even actually happened.  While some carries a lot of emotions and makes a lasting imprint on us.  Either way, memories are often described as something that may have happened to us.  Here's an alternative idea, how about we create our memories instead?

What is the significance of our memories?  Memories helps us to make sense of our world and ourselves.  For example, one of the most common questions we get when somebody is getting to know you is "How would you describe yourself?"  In that moment, we search our memories for experiences that would support that description.  In addition, our relationships are influenced by our memories of relationships we have been in or exposed to. So take a moment.  What memories do you want to create?
